Report Sick/Dead Bobcats
One of the biggest ways to contribute to this research is to immediately report sick, mangy or dead bobcats you may find near your home or on your hikes.  Please contact National Park Service biologists if you you spot a sick or dead bobcat, especially one that is tagged or radiocollared in Los Angeles or Ventura Counties.  If the animal is still alive, biologists can humanely capture the animal to take it to a vet for rehab. Also, the samples collected   from these sick or dead animals will be the most important to advancing the understanding of exactly how anticoagulants are affecting the bobcats.
